Oiling the cutter head (Figure G)
The cutter head must be regularly oiled, ideally every day, at the
comb and contact surface. Only use the original oil for this. Clean the
cutter head before oiling it.

2. Then oil the rear contact surfaces.
You can order the oil used for this from your Customer Service.
Cleaning the trimmer
Wipe your trimmer using a damp cloth occasionally and then rub it
dry.
Cleaning the charging contacts (Figure H)
Only use the charger with dry contacts.
If the charging contacts on the trimmer or connecting plug are dirty,
the charging process may be interrupted or disconnected.

Carefully clean the contacts using alcohol or white spirit.
What to do if....
...the trimmer cannot be switched on?

Is the battery dead? Charge the trimmer using the mains adap-
tor.
...the cutter head plucks hair?

The cutter head must be cleaned and oiled as described in the
Cleaning and maintenance section.

If this does not improve matters, the cutter head should be
replaced; orders can be placed with the Customer Service.
...the LED charge indicator does not light up?

Clean the charging contacts.

It is possible that the mains adaptor is not properly connected.
...the trimmer switches off by itself?

The battery is dead. Charge the trimmer in the charging station
or using the mains adaptor. It can also be operated using the
power cable.
...the battery charge running time is significantly shorter than
beforehand?

The cutter head must be cleaned and oiled as described in the

...the battery cannot be charged any more?
