Loop Handle.
For easy control of machine during

switch. Keeps the throttle partially

the engine's ignition off and stops
the running engine.

Throttle Trigger Interlock.
Must be depressed before the
throttle trigger can be activated.

Controls the speed of the engine.

Spark Plug Boot.
Connects the spark plug to the
ignition wire.

Air Filter Cover.
Covers the air filter element.

12. Depth Wheel.
Deflector-mounted depth wheel
rolls on ground and keeps edger's
cutting blade at preset height for
required depth of cut.
13. Wingnut.
Must be loosened to shift the wheel
to adjust the depth of cut.

14. Fuel Filler Cap.
For closing the fuel tank.
15. Carburetor Adjusting Screw.
For tuning the carburetor.
16. Choke Lever.
Eases engine starting by enriching
mixture.
17 Fuel Pump.
Provides additional fuel feed for a
cold start.
18. Starter Grip.
The grip of the pull starter, which is
the device to start the engine.
19. Fuel Tank.
For fuel and oil mixture.
20. Muffler (with Spark Arresting
Screen).
Attenuates exhaust noises and
diverts exhaust gases away from
operator. The spark arresting
screen is designed to reduce the
risk of fire.
