4. The material is mixed in the cannula when it
is expressed and it can be applied directly.
Note: When using an injector for the first time,
squeeze out a pea-sized amount of material and
discard it!
Note: Leave the used mixing cannula on the
Smartmix syringe after use. It serves as a cap.

Disinfection
• The Automix-Dispenser is reusable after dis-
infection, although it should be replaced if
visible signs of wear appear. Disinfection can
be carried out using a commercially available
dipping disinfectant. The Automix-Dispenser
is also autoclavable.
• Dirty or contaminated mixing cannulas used
as a cap can be cleaned with disinfectants
normally used in practice.
• DMG recommends using only disinfecting
solutions listed by the RKI (Robert Koch
Institute).
Storage and shelf life
Store at 2 – 25 °C/36 – 77 °F in a dry place.
Do not use after the expiration date.
Composition
Ionomer glass in a Bis-GMA-based matrix con-
sisting of dental resins, activators and additives.
