This vacuum cleaner can be equipped with a HEPA
filter for vacuuming dust hazardous to one's health.
The procedures for servicing and emptying the vacuum
cleaner including removing the dust container, must
only be performed by specialised personnel wearing
protective clothing. Do not use without the complete
filter system in place.

In the case of dust harmful to health, contact the
local health and safety authorities, and observe
national regulations in force both during use and
disposal.

Radioactive substances are not included in the
definition of the type of dust harmful to health
described above.
General recommendations
Risk of fire outbreaks and explosions.
The vacuum cleaner can only be used when
active sources of ignition are not going to be
vacuumed.
It is forbidden to vacuum the following
materials: burning materials (embers, hot
ashes, lighted cigarettes, etc.), liquids.
It is forbidden to vacuum the following
materials: explosive dust or dust liable to
spontaneous ignition (such as magnesium or
aluminium dusts, etc.).
The vacuum cleaner is not suitable for
vacuuming explosive or similar substances, as
established by the laws governing explosive
substances, particularly: liquid fuels and
mixtures of flammable dust and liquids.

If an emergency situation occurs:

short circuit

motor block

electric shock
-
etc.;
turn off the vacuum cleaner, unplug it and ask
for assistance to be performed by qualified
personnel.

Attention plate
Draws the operator's attention to the fact that
the filter must be shaken only when the vacuum
cleaner is off (see par. "Shaking the primary filter"
as well).
L.
Panel power plate
Indicates that the panel is powered by the voltage
indicated on the data plate.
N. Warning plate
Indicates that the machine can not be disposed of
with other domestic waste at the end of its cycle of
life (see "Vacuum cleaner disposal").
This vacuum cleaner creates a strong airflow which is
drawn in through the inlet "E" and blows out through
the outlet "H".
Before turning on the vacuum cleaner, fit the vacuum
hose into the inlet and then fit the required tool on to
the end part (refer to the manufacturer's accessory
catalogue or Service Centre).
The diameters of the authorized hoses are indicated in
the Technical data table.
This vacuum cleaner is equipped with an internal baffle
plate which subjects the vacuumed substances to a
circular centrifugal movement that makes them drop
into the container.
The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a primary
filter which enables it to be used for the majority of
applications.
Besides the primary filter, which retains the most
common types of dust, the vacuum cleaner can be
fitted with a secondary filter (absolute H) with a higher
filtering capacity for fine dusts and dusts that are
hazardous to health.
