The insert has a remote control with display and incorporated ambient probe for measuring the temperature in the
context of the room.
For measuring away from the unit, the installation of a room chronothermostat/thermostat is recommended.
- Installation and assembly must be done by qualified and/or authorized personnel.
- The insert cannot be installed in bedrooms, bathrooms and in general in rooms where
another heating unit is already installed without an independent air inflow.
It is advisable to provide suitable fire-prevention devices for any eventuality.
-
- Do not install the insert in places with an explosive atmosphere.
2.3 Combustion air inlet
In the room where the insert is installed a quantity of air must flow at least equal to that required for combustion; for
this reason must be guaranteed a flow of air, clean and free of pollutants, to satisfy a regular combustion at
maximum power without any hindrance or obstruction of the passage section; must also be drawn in from the
condition that in the vicinity of the insert is practiced an air intake communicating with the outside wall of the free
surface of at least 100 cm ² suitably protected externally by a protection grid to prevent obstructions.
The combustion air is drawn through a PROTECTION GRID complete
internal network located in the proximity of the installation compartment of
the insert (maximum distance of 1 m. From the suction pipe). This
component is not present in the air intake kit optional.
2.4 Fume exhaust
The fumes can be exhausted through a connection to a conventional flue or an external duct with double wall or
insulated pipe. The fume exhaust connections must guarantee a minimum draft of 10 Pa so that the evacuation of
fumes is ensured in case of a temporary power failure.
- The installer must check the efficiency and state of the flue and its conformity with the
local, national and European regulations.
- Certified pipes and connections with adequate seals guaranteeing their tightness must be used.
- In case of fire, shut down the stove, promptly call the fire department, and avoid continual attempts
to extinguish it.
- Clean the flue and respective connection at least once a year.

2.4.1 Types of installation

Listed below are definitions and requirements for correct installation of an
exhaust flue in accordance with Italian Standard UNI10683:
