Push the - mark on the cover to raise the cover.

SNOOZE button
When the wakeup timer is on, press this button to put
the unit in standby for 5 minutes.
You can also use this button to change the brightness
of the display.

BASS CONTROL knob
Use to adjust the volume of the built-in subwoofer
(low frequencies).

PROGRAM button
Use for CD programmed playback (page 28).
Use this button to store AM and FM preset stations in
memory (page 37).

FM MODE/PLAY MODE button
When listening to FM radio, use this button to switch
between stereo and mono.
Use to switch between the CD playback modes:
repeat, shuffle and intro (which plays only the begin-
nings of songs one after another) (page 31).

Remote control signal receiver
Signals sent from the remote control are received
here. When using a remote, point it toward this spot.

FUNCTION button
Press this button to cycle through playback sources in
the following order.

BLUETOOTH
o Press when the unit is off (standby) to turn it on.

DISPLAY/PTY button (Model for Europe)
DISPLAY button (Model for USA/Canada)
Use to search for stations by program type (Model for
Europe only).
Each time you press this button, the information
shown on the display changes (page 26).

INFO/RDS button (Model for Europe)
INFO button (Model for USA/Canada)
When listening to FM radio, use this button to select
an RDS mode (Model for Europe only) (page 38).
Press this button when playing a disc that contains
MP3/WMA files to show song names and other ID tag
information (page 27).
