Cutting Hair
EN
1. Hair should be dry and clean before cutting.
DE
2. The clipper blades should be oiled every few haircuts. Simply place
FR
a few drops of clipper oil on the teeth of the blades. Do not use hair
oil, grease or any oil mixed with kerosene or any solvent. Please use
ES
the included clipper oil or purchase natural clipper oil that doesn't
IT
contain solvents.
3. Attach the desired attachment guide comb onto the cutting blades.
4. Adjust clipper speed by pressing the speed button.
Note:
• Always start with the largest guide comb, then use shorter combs if a
shorter length is desired.
• Cut only a small amount of hair until you become accustomed to how
long each guide comb leaves the hair.
• Cut slowly and smoothly. Do not force the clippers through the hair.
5. Hold the clippers against the hair, with the teeth of the clippers
pointing upwards and flat against the head.
6. Move the clippers upwards and outwards through the hair, little by
little, against the direction of hair growth. The clippers will work most
efficiently when cutting through the hair at their own speed. Never
force the clippers through the hair. Never switch the clippers off
whilst in the hair.
7. For longer hair on top of the head, use the long comb to lift this hair,
cutting over the comb, or holding the hair between two fingers and
cutting to the desired length. Always work from the front to the back
of the head.
Outlining
1. Do not attach a guide comb.
2. Hold the clippers upside down and gently against the skin at the
length desired. Next, move the clippers downward.
3. Having defined the outline of the hair, gently hold the clippers against
the skin, with the teeth of the clippers pointing upwards and move the
clippers upwards against the direction of hair growth to the defined
outline. This will clip the unwanted hair adjacent to the outline.
