• MUST NOT be installed in such a way as to support decks, bulkheads or
other boat's structures.
• MUST NOT be possible to tread on it or to use it as a seat.
• MUST NOT be an integrating part of the hull.
• MUST NOT be installed on inboard engines.
• The tank must be installed in order to allow the inspection and the
maintenance of the accessories, the pipe connections etc...
• The tank must be installed in such a way to allow its following removal without leading to
modification/removal of any of the components of the boat structure (hull or deck).
Use
Due to the natural, even if minimum permeability of raw material used for the production of the
tank (Polyethylene), it is absolutely not prudent to leave the boat unemployed, with the tank filled
up : it is so possible the developing of fuel vapours which, in case of insufficient ventilation of the
tank bay, might create a milieu exposed to a risk of explosion.

Risk of explosion

It is necessary to always vent the tank bay before switching the engine on or before activating any
electric system, even if low voltage.
Maintenance
The tank doesn't need any particular maintenance.
Clean it by using a normal detergent. Before wintering, the tank must be
completely emptied from fuel residues and the room where it will be stowed
must be aired.
If the gauge requires to be replaced, you must empty the tank completely, then carefully remove
the screws fixing the gauge to the tank and the old gauge, proceeding by installing the a new one (
consult Nuova Rade catalogue to select the correct type), also replacing the gasket always using
the original screws. In case the gauge has to be replaced a second time, it is advisable to replace
the entire tank, for the locking screws tightness could be worn owing to the decay of the plastic
material.
