Do not lower the forks quickly as it may damage
the forklift or load.
Do not load or unload a load directly from raised
forks.
Do not attempt to touch or push a load slipping
off the forks.
Do not lift or transport any load using a rope,
chain, or cable on the forks. This can introduce
dynamics due to swinging that can unbalance a
truck or strike a bystander.
Do not touch the control levers carelessly while
the truck is running. It may lead to falling load
and/or injury to bystanders.
5 SAFE OPERATION
&WARNING
Never walk or stand under an elevated load or
forks. Do not permit anyone to walk or stand un-
der an elevated load or forks.
&WARNING
Keep all body parts out of the mast assembly,
and never reach through the mast for any
reason, or you will be trapped between the
masts and/or pillars and it will result in serious
injury or death. To retrieve an object from the
load, lower the forks, apply the parking brake,
place the control lever in neutral, turn the key
off, remove the key, and exit the forklift.
&WARNING
Do not lift people without using an approved el-
evated work platform that complies with all ap-
plicable regulations and following all applicable
safety guidelines. This is extremely dangerous.
Your forklift truck was designed for smooth, safe
handling of materials and products - not for el-
evating people. Don't use the mast or overhead
guard to reach high points either.
&WARNING
Do not carry or transport passengers or allow
people to ride on the forklift.
