18.9. Configuring the maximum battery charge power from the
auxiliary grid/genset
This option allows to set the maximum power for charging the batteries from the auxiliary grid or generator.
To configure this parameter, open MAIN MENU > CONFIGURATION > OPERATION MODE > MODE > open the
selected mode> CHARGING POWER and specify the maximum power in watts.
When the inverter is connected to the grid or generator, the batteries are charged from said AC source when the
state of charge (SOC) is lower than the set SOC MIN (see "18.8. Configuring the operation mode and its settings").

18.10. Configuring the back-up function

By default these inverters are configured with the back-up function activated. Therefore, in the event of a
distribution grid failure, the inverters internally disconnect the installation from the distribution grid and provide
the necessary power to the consumers from the batteries and the PV array. To do this, the consumers must be
connected to the inverter in the LOADS input (see "9. Connecting the consumption grid").
The response time of the system in the event of a grid outage is imperceptible for most of the consumers (12 ms).
The back-up function must be used in countries that allow this operation mode, taking into account the TT or TN
grounding system used by the grid operator.
Only in TT grounding systems is it necessary to install an external Normally Open contactor to reference the neutral
from the consumption grid to ground in the event of a grid outage.
INFO
For more information about this type of installation, see the "Technical guide for installations with
INGECON SUN STORAGE 1Play" available on the Ingeteam website.
To configure the back-up function, open MAIN MENU > CONFIGURATION > OPERATION MODE > BACK-UP
FUNCTION.
18.11. Configuring the AC voltage and rated frequency of the loads
in stand-alone installations
In stand-alone installations these units allow to power the consumption grid with configurable AC voltage and
frequency.
To configure the AC voltage and rated frequency, open the MAIN MENU > CONFIGURATION > INVERTER.
