> Pull out the venting valve (5) for venting.
> Close the lowering screw (6) in the clockwise
direction.
The jack is ready for operation. Jacks of the JH G plus
series can also be operated with an external pump.
CAUTION
When working with two or more jacks at the same
time, individual jacks might be overloaded. This can
lead to material damage and personal injury. To rule
out the overloading of individual jacks, the position of
the centre of gravity and the corresponding placement
of the jacks must be determined.
NOTE
The jack is stabilized by swivelling the swivel feet
under the load to be lifted.
The jacks of the JH series are equipped with an
integrated pump unit. The jacks of the JH EX series and
JHS series do not have an integrated pump; an external
pump must be connected here.
A load can be lifted and lowered with a hand pump, an
electrohydraulic pump or a central pump; see „Putting
the jack into operation with a pump", page 53.

NOTE
The pump is connected first to carry out the necessary
5
centre of gravity determination.

NOTE
When retrofitting or purchasing replacement parts for
old jacks of the G plus series, pay attention to the new
„swivelable toe" technology. On older jacks of the G
plus series, the bracket was made as a welded part
and may therefore not be used in combination with the
new swivelable toe.
> Before beginning work, the venting valve (5) must
be pulled upward to allow the tank to be aerated
and vented.
> After the end of work, close the venting valve (5)
again by pressing downward.
WARNING
If the jack is lowered too quickly, oil might escape
through the oil filling screw. There is a danger of injury
if the transported load drops.
