Cleaning and maintenance
Ensure that the device is switched off and disconnected from the power source
before any cleaning or maintenance.
The filter housing and the impeller must be cleaned at regular intervals. The
cleaning interval strongly depends on the degree of contamination. The level of
pollution can vary considerably from water to water. To clean the housing and the
motor, first remove the float of the ventilator (by loosening the three long pins).
Open the filter basket by turning the basket counterclockwise. To clean the rotor
and inner parts, remove the appropriate screws. The rotor can then be easily
pulled out of the housing and cleaned. Do not use sharp objects such as steel
brushes, use a soft sponge instead. Stubborn stains, e.g. lime deposits are best
removed with the FIAP pump cleaner.
Insufficient maintenance and cleaning which lead to permanent damage to the
device do not constitute a warranty or guarantee. Damage caused by insufficient
maintenance and cleaning during the warranty period is also not covered by the
warranty. Damage caused by inadequate maintenance and cleaning are also to be
determined afterwards.

Wear parts
The pump may only be used in the water, submerged. The pump must not run
