Read the operating instructions thoroughly before the start-up!
This device is not suitable for children under the age of three!
Select an appropriate location for the device, e.g. a dry, fl at, non-slip surface
on which the device can be easily operated.
Inserting the Batteries (not supplied)
Open the lid of the battery compartment on the back by releasing the screw on
the battery compartment with a screwdriver and then removing the lid.
Insert 4 batteries of type UM2/R14 1,5 V. Please ensure that the polarity is
correct (see the inside of the battery compartment)! If the device is not used
for a long period of time, remove the batteries to avoid the spilling of battery
acid.
Close the battery compartment again and tighten the screw.
When the batteries are fl at an „E" is shown in the display. In this case please
replace the complete set of batteries by new ones.
Note: Do not dispose of batteries in the domestic waste. Please return used
batteries to the relevant collection points or the shop where they were bought.
Never throw batteries into a fi re.
