Safety notes

Improper use of your night vision goggles may result in injury to you
or others and can damage or destroy the device We therefore kindly
ask you to read and strictly observe the following safety notes.

Intended use

The night vision device is intended for observation in the dark and
for taking digital photos and video clips It is for private use only and
is not suitable for commercial purposes
Hazards for children and persons with limited
ability to operate electronic equipment
The night vision goggles, accessories and packaging are not
toys for children. These should therefore always be kept away
from children due to the risk of electrical shock, poisoning and
suffocation
The night vision goggles and accessories may not be used by
children or persons with limited abilities to operate the
equipment. The device may only be used by persons who are
physically and mentally able to operate it safely

Electrical hazard
In the event that liquid or a foreign object has entered the night
vision device, switch it off and remove the batteries Allow all parts
to dry thoroughly Otherwise there is a risk of fire or electrical shock
If the night vision goggles have been dropped or the housing
has been damaged, switch it off and remove the batteries.

The night vision device may not be taken apart, modified or
repaired. This may cause a risk of fire or electrical shock
Damage from heat – fire hazard
Do not leave the night vision device in places where the
temperature can rise sharply (eg inside a vehicle) This could
lead to damage of the housing and internal parts, which in turn
could cause a fire
Do not wrap the night vision device in or place it on textiles.
This could lead to a build-up of heat in the night vision device that
can cause deformation of the housing and may induce a fire hazard

Battery safety

Always change all batteries at the same time
Before inserting the batteries, make sure the battery contacts and
the contacts in the device are cleaned
Before disposal of the night vision goggles, first remove the batter-
ies and dispose of them separately
Remove the batteries when the night vision device is not being
used for a long period
Do not remove the batteries immediately after using the night
vision device for an extended period of time The batteries may have
become hot during use
Danger of explosion if the batteries are not replaced properly
or if the wrong type of batteries is used Only use LR6 (AA) 15V
batteries or NiMH batteries with the same specification
Do not expose the batteries to excessive heat such as direct
sunlight, fire, etc due to the risk of fire and explosion Do not store
batteries near fire, stoves, or other sources of heat
Never store batteries at temperatures below 10 ° C or above 40 ° C
Keep the batteries out of the reach of children.

Do not place the night vision goggles on an unstable surface.
Otherwise, the device may fall or tip over and cause injury to people
or damage to the product
Do not use the night vision device while running or driving.
You could trip or cause a traffic accident
Damage to the electronics, the display or the lens, which were
caused by external influences such as impacts, falls, etc, are not
covered by the warranty and thus not subject to claims
Always handle your night vision device with care and avoid drop-
ping or knocking it. Otherwise it may be damaged
