Even when the tool is used as prescribed it is
not possible to eliminate all residual risk factors.
The following hazards may arise in connection
with the tool's construction and design:

protection is not worn.

Always remove the plug from the mains
socket before making any adjustments or
maintenance, including changing the operat-
ing accessories and adjusting the depth of
screwing.
▪ Power tools must not be used outdoors in
rainy weather, or in moist environment (after
rain) or in close vicinity with easily flammable
liquids and gases. The working place should
be well lit.

Know your product

Before using the power tool, familiarize your-
self with all the operating features and safety
requirements.
Use the tool and accessories only for the ap-
plications intended. All other applications are
expressly ruled out.

Operation

This power tool is supplied from single-phase al-
ternating current mains only. It is double insulat-
ed according to EN 60745-1 and IEC 60745 and
can be connected to grounded or not grounded
sockets. This power tool is radio suppressed in
compliance with EMC Directive.
These power tools are designed for screwing/
unscrewing in drywalls, softwood or wooden
constructions, plastics and similar materials.
These power tools are not designed for screw-
ing/unscrewing in metal ware.

PRIOR TO INITIAL OPERATION

▪ Make sure power supply voltage corresponds
to the value indicated on the name plate with

technical data of the tool.
▪ Always check the position of ON/OFF trig-
ger. The power tool must be connected to the
power supply socket only when this trigger is
in OFF position. If the plug is connected to
a receptacle while the trigger is in the ON
position, the power tool will start operating
immediately, which could cause a serious ac-
cident.
▪ Make sure the cord and the plug are in order.
If the replacement of the supply cord is neces-
sary, this has to be done by the manufacturer
or his agent in order to avoid a safety haz-
ard.
WARNING: Always switch off and un-
plug the power tool prior to any adjustment,
servicing or maintenance.
Fit the screw on the point of the bit and place
the point of the screw on the surface of the work
piece to be fastened. Apply pressure to the ma-
chine and start it. Withdraw the tool as soon as
the clutch cuts in. Then release the switch trig-
ger. (Fig. 1)
WARNING: When fitting the screw
onto the point of the bit, be careful not to push
in on the screw. If the screw is pushed in, the
clutch will engage and the screw will rotate
suddenly. This could damage a work piece or
cause an injury. Make sure that the bit is in-
serted straight in the screw head, or the screw
and/or bit may be damaged.
SWITCHING ON - SWITCHING Off
(fIG. 2)
1. Before plugging in the power tool, always
check to see that the switch trigger 5 actuates
properly and returns to the "OFF" position
when released. To start the tool, simply press
the switch trigger. Tool speed is increased by
increasing pressure on the switch trigger. Re-
lease the switch trigger to stop.
2. For continuous operation, press the switch
trigger 5 and then push in the lock-on button

3. To cease continuous operation release of the
lock-on button by pressing the switch trigger
fully, and then release it.
NOTE: Even with the machine switched on and
the motor running, the bit will not rotate until you
