8. Servicing

Changing the batteries

require 4 AAA-type 1.5 V batteries.
– Carefully turn over the scale so that the
base of the scale is accessible (see
Fig. 3).
– Push the battery compartment closure
towards "Battery" and open the cover.
– Remove exhausted batteries and insert
new batteries in the battery compart-
ment.
