The appliance is intended to be used freestanding. Do not
12.
block any oven vents. The information on adequate space
(top/back/sides) for sufficient air circulation can be found in
the user manual. Do not install in cabinets.
Only use utensils suitable for use in microwave ovens. Do
13.
not use containers or cutlery made from or containing
metal, aluminium foil, lead crystal glassware, temperature-
sensitive plastics, wood, metal clips or wire ties. Do not
use bowls with milled rims or plastic pots with the lid only
partially removed. Risk of fire!
When heating food in plastic or paper containers, keep an
14.
eye on the oven due to the risk of ignition.
If smoke is emitted, switch off or unplug the appliance and
15.
keep the door closed in order to stifle any flames.
Microwave heating of beverages can result in delayed
16.
eruptive boiling; therefore care must be taken when
handling the container. Danger of burns!
The contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars shall
17.
be stirred or shaken and the temperature checked before
consumption. Loosen the screw top and teat before heating
to avoid burns.
Eggs in their shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not
18.
be heated in microwave ovens since they may explode,
even after microwave heating has ended. Eggs may only
be cooked in their shell in a specially designed egg-boiling
device available from specialist shops.
Do not use a steam-cleaning appliance to clean this
19.
appliance. Steam could reach the electrical components and
cause a short circuit.
The oven should be cleaned regularly and any food deposits
20.
removed (see user manual).
