5.2.4 Menu item DELETE SETTINGS
Cancelling the switching times
1) Go to the menu item  DELETE SETTINGS with the
button UP or DOWN and call the submenu with the
button ENTER to select the memory location.
2) The display shows:
SELECT MEMORY
 MEM01
[xx:xx]
The first memory location with the corresponding
starting time is selected. To cancel this, press the
button ENTER. Otherwise select the memory loca-
tion with the button UP or DOWN and then press
the button ENTER.
3) After pressing the button ENTER, the display
switch es over to
DELETE MEMxx ?
 YES
[xx:xx]
To cancel the memory location, press the button
ENTER.
4) To interrupt the procedure, switch to  NO with the
button DOWN and confirm with the button ENTER.
The memory location is not cancelled.
5) The menu can also be quit without selecting a
memory location. For this purpose press the button
UP so many times until  EXIT is displayed. Then
exit the menu with the button ENTER.
5.2.5 Menu item SET DATE & TIME
Setting date and time
The date and the time are automatically set by the
radio clock receiver. However, if this is not the case
due to inference with reception, the date and time can
also be set manually. If the reception is clear again, the
radio module will automatically update the date and
the time. The clock is battery-buffered and continues
even if the power supply is interrupted.
1) Go to the menu item  SET DATE & TIME with the
button UP or DOWN and call the submenu for
chang ing the calendar day with the button ENTER:
SET DATE

2) Set the present day with the button UP or DOWN
and confirm with the button ENTER.
3) Repeat the procedure for the month and the year.
Then the present setting is displayed. Confirm it
with the button ENTER.
4) After confirming the date, the menu for changing
the time is displayed, e. g.:
SET TIME
09:15
Update likewise the hours and the minutes and
confirm in each case with the button ENTER.

[HOUR]
5) To quit the programming mode after changing the
time, select the menu item  EXIT with the button
DOWN and press the button ENTER.
5.2.6 Menu item SET PUSH-BUTTONS
Extending the functions of the buttons CHIME
With the buttons CHIME A (2), CHIME B (3), and
CHIME C (4) it is not only possible to trigger a chime
but at the same time or subsequently a relay can pick
up and/or an announcement from the digital message
insertion PA-1120DM can be started.
1) Go to the menu item  SET PUSH-BUTTON with the
buttons UP or DOWN and call the submenu for the
button selection with the button ENTER.
2) The display shows:
SET PUSH-BUTTON
 CHIME A
With the button UP or DOWN select the button to
which additional functions are to be assigned and
confirm with the button ENTER.
3) The display changes to:
SET REL
R 123
 1
R
4) The settings for the relay/s or the selection of an
announcement is made the same way as de scribed
in chapter 5.2.2 D to G.
5) After the setting for a button CHIME has been con-
cluded with the button ENTER, the display shows
the menu again:
MENU
 SET PUSH-BUTTON
6) Repeat the procedure for the next button CHIME or
to exit the programming menu, select the menu
item  EXIT with the button DOWN and confirm with
the button ENTER. The display shows again the
date and the time.
5.2.7 Menu item EXIT
Exiting the programming mode
Go to the menu item  EXIT with the button DOWN.
Press the button ENTER to exit the programming
mode. The display switches to the time and the date.
5.3 Display
In the standard mode the display (1) indicates in the
first line the time (a) and the timer status (b) ON or
OFF. In the second line the date (d) with the weekday
(e) can be seen. The weekday is shown as a number:
"1" = Monday, "7" = Sunday.
If a programming step is made by the timer, instead
of the time the chime (CHIME A, B, or C) is displayed,
however, only if the programming step triggers a
chime. If a relay picks up, the remaining hold time (c)
appears running in backward order.
