▪ Do not leave a switched on machine unattended.
▪ Never use the machine in the proximity of inflammable
gases or combustible materials (risk of explosion).
▪ When working with plastics, paints, lacquers and
similar materials, combustible and poisonous gases
may be produced. Inform yourself beforehand about
the materials to be worked on.
▪ Never use the appliance in combination with chemical
solvents.
WARNING: Please note that heat may be
transferred to combustible materials out of eyesight.
To be on the safe side, have a bucket of water or a fire
extinguisher at hand, in case any material catches fire.
▪ Never poke anything down the air outlet or nozzle.
▪ When operating outdoors, connect the machine via a
residual current (RCD) circuit breaker with a triggering
current of 30 mA maximum, and only use an extension
cord which is intended for outdoor use and equipped
with a splash-proof coupling-socket.
▪ Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging
the appliance. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp
edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords
increase the risk of electric shock.
▪ Always keep away the cord from the hot air flow and
the air outlet/nozzle.
▪ Make sure work area is adequately ventilated. The
gases and vapours separated during operation may
be harmful to your health.
▪ After use switch off and disconnect the machine.
▪ Allow the machine to cool down for at least 30 minutes
before storage.
▪ In case of electrical or mechanical malfunction,
immediately switch off the appliance and disconnect
the plug.
WARNING: Do not place your hand over the
air vents (3) at the machine rear or block the vents in
any way.
▪ Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common
sense when operating a appliance. Do not use a
appliance while you are tired.
▪ Take a secure stance; do not overreach, especially on
ladders and stages.
▪ To use this appliance properly, you must observe
the safety regulations, the assembly and operating
instructions in this booklet. All persons who use and
service the machine have to be acquainted with this
Manual and must be informed about the potential
hazards when operating this appliance.
▪ This machine is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
▪ Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
▪ The manufacturer shall not be liable for any changes
made to the tool nor for any damage resulting from

▪ The appliance must not be used outdoors in rainy
weather, or in moist environment (after rain) or in close
vicinity with easily flammable liquids and gases. The
working place should be well lit.

Operation instructions
This appliance is supplied from single-phase alternating
current mains only. It is double insulated according to
EN 60335-1 and can be connected to grounded or not
grounded sockets. This appliance is radio suppressed
in compliance with EN 55014-1, EN 55014-2,
EN 61000-3-2, EN 61000-3-3 for radio interference.
This appliance is intended for the removal of paint,
forming and welding of plastic, warming of heat-
shrinkable tubing; the tool is also suitable for soldering,
loosening adhesive joints and defrosting water pipes.
PRIOR TO INITIAL OPERATION
▪ Make sure the power supply voltage corresponds to
the value indicated on the name plate with technical
data of the tool.
▪ Always check the position of ON/OFF switch. The
appliance must be connected to the power supply
socket only when this switch is in OFF position as the
maximum temperature is achieved for 60 seconds
only.
▪ Make sure that the cord and the plug are in order. If the
replacement of the supply cord is necessary, this has
to be done by the manufacturer or his agent in order
to avoid a safety hazard.
WARNING: Always switch off and unplug the
appliance prior to any adjustment or maintenance.
▪ Check the functioning of the tool before each use and,
in case of a defect, have it repaired immediately by a
