Use of the USB Socket

The USB socket on the panel (5Vdc max 2amp) can be used for charging electrical devices
compatibles with usb standard.
10.3.5

ESC throttle (engine smard control)

With the Engine Smart Control button ON
the generator will automatically reduce the
engine speed depending on the load. This
will result in better fuel consumption and
less noise.
Close/OFF /"0":
With the Engine Smart Control button OFF/"0" the engine runs at full RPM regardless if a load is
connected or not
10.3.6

Low oil level alarming system

Low oil pressure alarming system is designed to prevent the engine being damaged by lack of
machine oil in the crankcase. Before the machine oil in the crankcase declines to the security line,
the low oil pressure alarming system will turn off the engine automatically. (The switch of the
engine will be still in the "OPEN" position.)
After low oil pressure alarming system has closed the engine, if you operate the starter again, the
low oil pressure alarming light will lighten (Fig. V), and the engine will not run. If this happens,
please add machine oil.

10.4 Turn off the engine

Normal use:
1. Turn off all the installations that are
connected, and unplug the plug (Fig. W)
2. Turn the switch (Fig. X) of the plug to
the "OFF" position.
3. After the engine is totally cooled, turn the
ventilating pole of the fuel-burning lid to the "OFF" position counter-clockwise (Fig. Y).

MAINTENANCE

The purpose of making maintenance and
adjustment plan is to keep the generator in the
best working condition.
Please check and maintain the generator
according to the plan in the following chart.
Please turn off the engine before you carry out
any repair. If the engine needs to run when
repairing, make sure the operating area is well
ventilated, as the exhaust contains toxic CO.

ESC only works when an electrical
device with 230 V is connected to
the power unit.
When using the 12 V DC ESC must
be switched OFF/"0". (Fig. C)
I M P O R T A N T
If you want to stop the engine
urgently, turn the switch of the
engine to the "CLOSE" position.
A T T E N T I O N
Please use authentic
components of ZI-STE1000IV or
other substitutes with the same
quality.
The unqualified components will
damage the generator.
