6.3 Fault and Warning Messages

6.3.1 Error messages

Errors which occur are shown in coded form by an error number in the LED display on the front panel. All error
messages result in the BTB/RTO contact being opened, and the output stage of the amplifier being switched off
(motor loses all torque). If a motor-holding brake is installed, it will be activated.

Overvoltage in DC bus link limit depends on the electrical supply voltage
Message from the position controller
Cable break, short-circuit, short to ground
Undervoltage in DC bus link limit is set by manufacturer to 100V
Motor temperature too high or temp. sensor defect, limit is fixed to 145°C
Motor over-revs, speed is too high
Checksum error

Slot error (hardware fault on expansion card)
Software error on the expansion card
For 40/70 amps type only, short-circuit between motor phase and ground
Severe CAN bus communication error
Warning is displayed as fault
Commutation error
Homing error (machine has driven onto hardware limit switch)
Error with -AS- , input for AS-Enable and ENABLE set at the same time
Ext. position profile generator created a step, that exceeds the max. value
