9. Remove and store the bypass jumper for possible later
use.
Caution - Install bypass jumpers whenever a circuit
breaker is turned OFF to work on a load. Damage
caused by short circuits and miswiring IS NOT
COVERED by the product warranty.
10. Turn ON input feed circuit breakers and check that they
do not trip.
11. For any feed circuit breaker that trips, locate the shorted
load and resolve the wiring problem before proceeding.
12. Use the Address Switch to check the operation of the
module. See Table 2.
(4A Only) Note: When testing each circuit, allow the circuits
to remain on for at least 20 seconds. Verify that the Zone
Diagnostic LEDs are not blinking (see Table 4).
13. Set each address switch to match the module's position
(set module 1's address switch to 1, etc.).
14. After the HomeWorks
Processor is programmed, check

each module's diagnostic LEDs (light emitting diodes). See
Tables 3 and 4.

(Valid for sales in the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, and the Carribean.)
Lutron will, at its option, repair or replace any unit that is defective in materials or manufacture within two years
after purchase. After the two year period, a pro-rated warranty applies to this product until eight years after the
purchase. For warranty service, return unit to place of purchase or mail to Lutron at 7200 Suter Rd.,
Coopersburg, PA 18036-1299, postage pre-paid. Telephone the Lutron Technical Support Center toll free at
800-523-9466. For more information regarding this warranty contact your Lutron representative.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES, AND THE IMPLIED WAR-
RANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY IS LIMITED TO TWO YEARS FROM PURCHASE. THIS WARRANTY
DOES NOT COVER THE COST OF INSTALLATION, REMOVAL OR REINSTALLATION, OR DAMAGE
RESULTING FROM MISUSE, ABUSE, OR IMPROPER OR INCORRECT REPAIR, OR DAMAGE FROM
IMPROPER WIRING OR INSTALLATION. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER INOPERABILITY RESULTING
FROM INTERFERENCE, INCORRECT INSTALLATION, OR ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS. LUTRON'S
LIABILITY ON ANY CLAIM FOR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE MAN-
UFACTURE, SALE, INSTALLATION, DELIVERY, OR USE OF THE UNIT SHALL NEVER EXCEED THE
PURCHASE PRICE OF THE UNIT.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

LIMITED WARRANTY

Lutron EA Ltd. ("Lutron EA") warrants that each new unit will be free from defects in
material and workmanship and will correspond with the specifications issued by Lutron EA and perform under
normal use and service. To the extent permitted by law, Lutron EA and Lutron Electronics Company, Inc.
("Lutron") make no warranties or representations as to the units except as set forth herein. This warranty shall
run for a period of two years from the date of delivery and Lutron EA's obligations under this warranty are limit-
ed to remedying any defect, or replacing any defective part, or replacement of the unit (at Lutron EA's sole option),
and shall be effective only if the defective unit is shipped to Lutron EA postage prepaid within 24 months after
delivery of the unit, to the extent permitted by law. After the two year period, a pro-rated warranty applies to the
unit until eight years after delivery of the unit. Repair or replacement of the unit does not affect the expiry date of
the warranty. This warranty does not cover damage or deficiencies due to abuse, misuse, inadequate wiring or
insulation, or installation other than in accordance with instructions accompanying the unit. This warranty does
not cover inoperability resulting from interference, incorrect installation, or environmental factors.
Although every attempt is made to ensure that catalogue information is accurate and up-to-date, please check
with Lutron EA before specifying or purchasing any unit to confirm availability, exact specifications, and suitabil-
ity for your application.
This warranty does not affect the statutory rights of consumer purchasers of the unit.
