iPod CONTROLS

1. BACKLIGHT: Turns your iPod's backlight on for
30 seconds.
2. LED METERS: Monitor the input signal sent to
your iPod. These meters show the signal after the
limiter, if the limiter is engaged.
3. LIMITER: Engages the stereo limiter. The limiter
prevents the input to your iPod from overloading
and causing unwanted digital distortion.
4. iPod CONTROLS: Functions as the controls for
your iPod's menus while it is plugged into the mixer.
5. JOG WHEEL: Functions as your iPod's
Touchwheel.
6. iPod RECORD LEVEL: Adjusts the gain of the
input signal sent to your iPod.
7. iPod PLAYBACK LEVEL: Controls the audio
playback level of your iPod. Monitor the levels via
the LED METERS.
8. iPod TO MIX: Sends the signal from your iPod to
the MAIN MIX.
9. iPod TO CTRL ROOM: Sends the signal from
your iPod to the control room mix.
10. iPod INPUT MON TO CTRL ROOM: Sends
the signal being sent to your iPod to the control
room mix. Listen to this signal while recording to
ensure low distortion and compression artifacts.
TO START RECORDING:
Press REC MODE to enter your iPod's recorder
feature. When ready to start recording, press ENTER.
TO STOP RECORDING:
Use the JOG WHEEL and ENTER button to
instruct your iPod to stop recording.
