ASKET EAL
This is a special long-lasting silicone seal (more than 500hours use).
Clean it when washing the lid, without taking it out of its housing.
After a log use it should be changed for another original replacement seal.
This is done as follows:
 Remove the used seal and carefully clean the channel where it sits.
 Soak new seal in warm soapy water.
 Place the two ends of the seal into the housing channel on the lid, push the
ends down firmly and then all along the channel, using a spoon to help you
centimetre by centimetre so that it all fits correctly into the channel on the
lid.
 A worn gasket seal can be detected when the pot begins to lose steam and
fails to reach a sufficient pressure.

If the pressure cooker has been used a lot, check the screw thread of these parts. If
they are worn, the whole assembly must be replaced.
We recommend revising the tightening knob periodically to make sure the Bakelite
is not worn. If you notice any crack or chipping in it, it will become necessary to be
replaced it for a new one.

ARNINGS
a) After cleaning the pot, store it with the lid turned upside down resting on the
body, this will allow the pieces to air.
b) If you notice any abnormal behaviour when using the pressure cooker, take it
along to you nearest Technical Service Centre to have it checked.
c) In any case, it is advisable to have it checked by a Service Centre after
prolonged use (approx. every 2years).
