Maintenance and care
Cutter blade adjustment
Standard blades require no periodic adjustments. Make sure all
blade bolts are tight and in good condition.
Tools required:
Grease gun, Rag.
Parts required:
Lithium based grease.
1.
The gears can be lubricated through the grease fitting or the
hole that will come out if you remove the grommet with the
grease mark being located at the bottom of the gear case.
2.
Clean dirt from grease fitting and grommet.
3.
Do not force grease. Too much pressure will force grease
past seals and cause damage. Apply 1 - 2 pumps of
grease every 18 hours of operation.
4.
For using a grease tube, first remove the grommet next to
the grease mark and then inject grease as illustrated.
5.
Reinstall the grommet, if removed, upon finishing injecting
grease.
NOTE
Push the grommet all the way in. Otherwise, it may come up
and fall off while the machine is in use.
Use good quality lithium multi grease.
