3. Use a fork lift truck or hoist to raise the
dust collector via the sling or cable.
4. Use the guide ropes to guide the dust col-
lector, as it is being lifted, to an upright posi-
tion with the feet on the floor.
5. Position the dust collector where it will be
used.

LEVEL THE DUST COLLECTOR
Make sure that the dust collector is level. If
it is not level, the support structure must be
adjusted. To level the dust collector:
1. Use holes in bottom of lower sup- ports to
anchor lower supports to the floor.
2. Use fork lift or hoist as needed to support
the weight of dust collector.
3. Carefully loosen the fasteners on two ad-
jacent supports as needed to move dust col-
lector into level with all feet flat on the floor.
4. Retighten all fasteners securely.
5. Move dust collector to its final position.
ATTACH 7" FLEXIBLE HOSE
The 7" flexible hose is attached to lower col-
lector. To attach 7" flexible hose:
1. Slide hose clamp onto free end of hose.
Loosen clamp screw if required to slide hose
clamp onto hose.
2. Position hose clamp wires on the hose
grooves.
3. Slide hose with clamp onto lower collector.

4. Tighten hose clamp screw to secure hose to
lower collector.
5. Attach lid collar to lid using hex head
bolts, flat washers and hex nuts.
6. Attach remaining end of hose to lid collar
using Steps 1-4.
7. Peel cover from drum lid packing tape and
apply tape to bottom lip of drum lid (where
top of drum makes contact).
8. Position lid on top of drum (not included).
It is helpful to tilt the lid and slide drum to-
wards lower collector while positioning the
lid.
ATTACH FILTER BAG (FIG. 3)
Filter bag is attached to bag hanger and dust
collection drum. To attach filter bag:
1. Hang the filter bag by the loop on top of
bag into hanger hook
2. Slide bag clamp onto bag inlet.
3. Slide bag inlet and clamp over outlet
4. Slide bag band through loops on bot- tom
of filter bag.
5. Position drum (not included) under filter
bag.
6. Straighten folds in filter bag and tighten
bag band.
MOUNT CONTROL BOX
It is recommended that control box be
mounted to support brace which is located
on the opposite side of filter bag and inlet
ducts. To mount control box:
1. Attach control box and plate to sup- port
brace using hex head bolts, flat washers and
hex nuts.
2. Strip 5" of outer covering from free end
of motor cord and put stripped end of cord
through strain relief.
3. Place motor cord and strain relief into
opening of control box.
4. Make sure that motor cord is secure.
5. Wrap electrical tape around wire nuts and
wires for better insulation
DANGER: Do not permit fingers to touch
terminals of plug when installing or remov-
ing the plug to or from the outlet.
WARNING: Do not connect to power
source until unit is completely assembled.
