Pasta attachment
Dear Customer,
Before using the appliance, the user should
read the following instructions carefully.

Important safety instructions
The pasta attachment must only be used
with food processor model KM3882,
whose safety instructions also apply here.
When using the pasta attachment, the
blender bowl and the splash-proof lid
must be fitted, as the drive head
mounting rotates during operation.
Should the feeder chute become blocked,
do not use force to push the dough down
the chute.
Using very dry pasta dough, or pushing
the dough through the shape-selection
discs with too much force, may result in
damage to the pasta attachment and/or
blender mechanism.
For safety reasons, use the pestle at all
times when adding food into the feeder
chute. Never use your hands (or objects
of any kind).
Do not touch any moving parts during
operation, as this can be extremely
dangerous.
Always switch the appliance off and
remove the plug from the wall socket:
- before adding, changing or removing
any attachments, or
- before the appliance is cleaned.
After switching off, always wait until the
motor has come to a complete standstill.
This appliance should only be used with
the attachments provided by the
manufacturer and in accordance with the
purposes described in this manual.
Before using for the first time
Before the pasta attachment is used for the
first time, it should be thoroughly cleaned as
described in the section General care and
cleaning.
Use
General information
- To facilitate pasta making, it is advisable
to pre-warm (in hot water) the parts to
be used, drying them thoroughly before
use.
- Always fit the required attachment
before use.
Always switch the appliance off after use,
and wait until the motor has come to a
complete standstill. Remove the plug
from the wall socket before any
attachments are removed or added.
Operation
- Slide the worm drive into its housing.
- Fit the shape-selection disc in front of the
worm-drive housing in such a way, that
the protruding lugs on the disc are
correctly aligned with the corresponding
recesses in the housing.
- Fit and hand-tighten the locking-ring by
turning it clockwise using the special tool
provided.
Mounting the worm drive to the main unit:
- Press down the slide lock and remove the
cover.
- Press down the slide lock again and fit
the housing onto the shaft in the drive
unit by turning it slightly.
- Release the slide lock once the feeder
chute is vertical. The housing is correctly
fitted and locked when it cannot be
