For accurate measurements, it is very
important that the infrared sensor of
the thermometer is clean and free of
scratches.
1. Each time before performing a measurement,
check the infrared sensor
carefully clean it with a cotton swab soaked
with a small amount of medical alcohol and
then immediately with a clean, dry cotton
swab.
2. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the housing.
3. After cleaning, store the thermometer in a
clean, dry place at room temperature.
