REPAIR
A PVC patch for repairing small holes is included. Most leaks can be repaired
in a few minutes.
Loss of air: If your board seems a bit soft to you, there does not necessarily
have to be a leak. The ambient temperature influences the internal pressure
of the chamber: A deviation of 1°C results in a pressure deviation in the
chamber of +/- 4 mBar (.06 PSI). If the board was inflated late in the evening,
the air may cool down overnight. The cooler air leads to lower pressure, so
it may be soft the next morning. If there is no temperature deviation, you
must first find out where the air is escaping.
Please follow the following procedure:
1. Check whether there is sand or dirt in the valve.
2. Make sure that the valve seal is correctly positioned.
3. Rinse the hose body and also the valve surround with soapy water.
4. Where bubbles form, there is a leak and must be repaired.
