1 Putting the kettle into operation
Before first use, you must unwind the connection cable completely and guide it through the open-
ing on the base. To switch on the appliance, press and hold the on/off button on the control
panel.

2 Filling the water
Filling with water, lift the water container from the base using the handle and press the button to
open the lid. There is a measuring scale for cups and litres on the inside. After filling, close the lid
so that it audibly clicks into place.
Observe the MAX marking
for the maximum water
volume. Do not overfill.
