removing accessories or when cleaning it.
– Do not operate any appliance with a dam-
aged cord or plug, or after the appliance mal-
functions or has been damaged in any way.
Instead, take it to the nearest authorised ser-
vice centre for examination, repair or adjust-
ment.
– Never attempt to replace the cord, as special
tools are required. Repairs to or replacements
of the cord should be left to a service centre
authorised by the manufacturer to ensure the
safety of the appliance.
– Never immerse the cord, motor base or plug
in water or other liquid, as this could cause
fire, electric shock or injury.
– CAUTION: to avoid the risk of overriding the
safety shutdown system, the appliance must
not be operated by means of an external
switch device such as a time switch, nor should
it be connected to an electrical circuit that is
regularly switched on and off by the electric-
ity supply company.
– The appliance must remain disconnected from
the mains while it is being cleaned.
– Care shall be taken when handling the sharp
cutting blades, emptying the blender jar and
cleaning.
– Do not touch any rotating components or
accessories.
– Flashing light indicates ready to operate.
Avoid any contact with blades. Keep clothing,
jewelry, hair, fingers and utensils away from
rotating components or accessories to avoid
serious injury to persons and damage to the
appliance.
– Check that the appliance is isolated from the
mains before cleaning or putting it away.
