8. Store the Clamps in a safe place.
9. Recharge the unit fully.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
If the battery clamps are incorrectly connected with regard to
polarity, the Fault LED Indicator will light red until the clamps are
disconnected. Remove the clamps and then reconnect them with
correct polarity.
If the voltage of the unit's internal lithium battery is low and has
insufficient output power, the Fault LED Indicator will flash red.
Disconnect the unit and fully charge following the directions in the
"Charging / Recharging" section.
If the unit is overheated, the Fault LED Indicator will light red.
Disconnect the Battery Clamps and allow the unit to cool down for
a period before resuming any operation.
If the cranking current and/or time period exceeds the unit's
parameters, the Fault LED Indicator will flash red for 50 seconds (a
cooling down period) before the Boost Indicator lights blue again
(resuming normal operation).
NOTICE – To avoid the risk of property damage:
• If the vehicle doesn't start after the first attempt, allow a resting/
cooling period of 4 to 5 minutes before making a second attempt.
If a second attempt doesn't start the vehicle, discontinue use and
look for other problems that need to be corrected. The battery may
be damaged.
• NEVER attempt to use the unit to start a vehicle while it is in
charging mode.
• Using the jump-starter without a car battery installed in the vehicle
will damage the vehicle's electrical system.
• If the battery of the unit overheats or is too cold, the jump starter
process will automatically shut down.
OPERATING THE USB PORTS
The First USB-C Port is located on the bottom of the unit. The
Second USB-C Port and the USB-A Port are located on the left
side of the unit. Refer to the "Features" section to locate.
IMPORTANT NOTES: The First USB-C Port provides up to PD
60W output power. The USB-A Port provides up to 15W output
power. The Second USB-C Port provides up to PD 25W output
power. The total output power is up to 15W when the Second
USB-C Port and USB-A Port are used simultaneously.
Using The First USB-C Power Port
1. Connect a USB-C powered device to the First USB-C Port.
2. The Battery Status LED Indicators light.
3. Operate the USB powered devices normally.
4. Unplug the USB devices from the First USB-C Port on the unit.
The unit will turn off automatically.
Using The Second USB-C Power Port & USB-A Power Port
1. Press the USB Power Button to turn on the Second USB-C Port
and USB-A Port. The Battery Status LED Indicators light.
2. Plug the USB powered device into the Second USB-C Port and/
or USB-A Port and operate normally.
3. Press the USB Power Button again to turn off the Second
USB-C Port and USB-A Port.
Periodically check the unit's battery status. When the battery level is
nearly empty (only one blue Battery Status LED Indicator lights), the
unit must be recharged or the unit's built-in low voltage protection
will activate and only one blue Battery Status LED Indicator flashes
briefly before the unit automatically shuts down.
Make sure all the unit functions are turned off when the unit is being
recharged or stored.
