operAtIon - Before first use
Clean the appliance a couple of times by filling it with water only and following the instructions below. Dispose
of the water after use.
operAtIon - Making coffee
Filling with water
1. Place the appliance on a flat and steddy surface.
2. Remove the water tank from the appliance and fill it with sufficient water to set 2, 4 or 6 cups of coffee
according to the water level indicator. Then place the reservoir back in the appliance.
Never fill the water tank with hot water, milk, tea or other liquids than cold tap water.
Making coffee using coffee beans
1. Pull the filter housing (6) outwards and place the filter holder (4), then the permanent filter (3) or paper
filter (101), and finally the filter cover (2). Then close the filter holder.
2. Open the bean container lid (1) and fill the bean container (9) with up to 90 grams of roasted coffee
beans. Then place the lid back on the reservoir.
3. Adjust the grind fineness of the coffee beans with the rotary knob (8) on top of the bean container.

5. Set the desired number of cups of coffee by pressing the

approx. 35 minutes before switching off automatically.
11. Remove the plug from the socket after use.
Never use unroasted or humid coffee beans. These can severely damage the device.
Making coffee using filter coffee
1. Pull the filter housing outwards and place the filter holder, then the permanent filter or paper filter (101).
Fill the filter with the desired quantity of filter coffee (1 measuring spoon per cup). Make sure the number
of cups is equal to the amount of water in the water tank. During the brewing process, the appliance will
use all the water in the water reservoir. Place the filter cover. Then close the filter holder.

Note that the
