The machines are prepared to work with an electric generator. However, these generators must meet certain require-
ments. It is recommended to use three-phase generators with a constant power of at least 25KVA. If the generator
does not have enough power or the output voltage is outside the operating limits of the machine, the stability of the
welding arc and, therefore, the quality of the weld joint could be affected. In the worst case, it can even cause da-
mage to the machine.
Do not use more than one welding machine with the same generator at the same time. Sudden changes in charge
level may affect the stability of the welding arc.
5 - Start the machine by turning the switch placed on the back of the power unit. During the startup sequence, the
machine performs an internal test. If a fault is detected, the associated code will appear on the front panel display.
Always start or stop the machine using the rear switch, NOT by plugging or unplugging it from the mains.
