Precautions for cordless power tools with battery (not included)
1.
Before inserting the battery into your chainsaw, make sure that the trigger and lock buttons
are in the neutral position to prevent accidental start-up.
2.
Recharge only with the charger included in the supply or supplied by Stocker srl. Using an
unsuitable charger poses a fire risk.
3.
Use only the batteries included in the supply or supplied by Stocker srl. Using non-original
batteries may cause damage and pose a fire risk.
4.
Keep metal objects, such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal
objects, that could connect one terminal to the other, away from the battery. A short circuit
on the battery terminals may cause a fire.
5.
If used inappropriately, battery liquid may leak out and contact must be avoided. In the
event of accidental contact, rinse with water. If the fluid comes into contact with the eyes,
seek medical advice. Liquid leaking from the battery is corrosive and causes burns.
6.
Keep all body parts away from the chainsaw when operating. Before starting the chainsaw,
make sure that the chain is not in contact with anything. The slightest distraction during
operation may cause clothing or parts of the body to get caught in the chain.
7.
Wear safety goggles and hearing protection devices. It is recommended to wear additional
protective equipment to protect your head, hands, legs and feet. Full protective clothing will
reduce personal injury caused by flying debris or accidental contact with the chain.
8.
Make sure to stand firmly and on a solid, safe and flat surface before operating the chain-
saw. Slippery or unstable surfaces, such as ladders, can cause loss of balance or control of
the chainsaw.
9.
Materials with a very thin thickness can jam the chain when cutting shrubs or saplings,
once freed they can hit the operator or make them unbalanced.
10. Turn off the chainsaw before transporting it, hold the front handle firmly and keep it at an
appropriate distance from the body. Make sure to put the protective cover on the bar when
transporting.
