Use silicone adhesive caulking (not
included) to seal the gap between the
wall plate and the mounting surface to
prevent water seepage into the J-box.
Attaching the Light
Determine which machine screws fit the threaded holes in
the J-box. Insert them through the mounting holes in the
wall plate and in the threaded holes in the J-box and tighten.
Tighten the machine screws until snug with the included
Allen wrench.
For Surface Box Mounting ONLY:
Remove the protective liner from the gasket,
align the center hole of the gasket with that
of the J-Box, and apply the gasket to the
outer edge of the surface mounting box.
NOTE: Make sure the gasket properly seals
the gap between the wall plate and
electrical box to prevent water from
seeping into the j-box.
NOTE: If the holes do not match up with the
holes in the junction box, loosen the base
by turning the collar ring toward the wall
plate until snug.
