Clean the HEPA filter (in the main appliance next to the power cable) (see fig. G)
1. Open the cover.
2. Remove the filter unit by pressing the lug above the filter.
3. The sponge filter can be washed out under running water if necessary.
4. The HEPA filter (paper filter) should be thoroughly knocked out.
5. Reassemble the filter in reverse order and insert it into the appliance.
NOTE!
Allow the filters to dry COMPLETELY before refitting them, otherwise you may damage the appliance.

Switch off the appliance and disconnect the mains plug before addressing any faults!
Do not use the appliance if:
• The power cable is damaged.
• Liquid has been absorbed or has penetrated the inside of the device.
• The device has been dropped.
In these cases, the electrical safety of the appliance may no longer be guaranteed, even if no external damage
is recognisable.

The infrared remote control is

Possible cause / solution
Check whether the appliance is connected to a functioning socket.
It may be that the socket is defective, try a different one.
The appliance must first be activated using the on/off switch on the main appliance.
Check that the batteries have been inserted correctly.
Clean the filter.
Check whether dirt has collected in the suction pipe, the floor nozzle or in the suction
opening. Remove this if necessary.
