HOW TO USE
Before use:

2. Remove all packaging.
3. Clean the Cooking Plates with a wet sponge or using a warm wet cloth.
Do not immerse the unit and do not run water directly on the cooking surface.
4. Dry it with a cloth or paper towel.
5. For best results, lightly coat the cooking plates with a dash of cooking oil or cooking
spray.
When your Sandwich Maker is heated for the first time, it may emit some smoke or
odor. This is normal with many heating appliances. This does not affect the safety of
your appliance.
Daily use:
• Close the appliance and plug it into the wall outlet, you will notice that the ready-light will
switch on, indicating that it's already preheating.
• It will take approximately 5 minutes to reach baking temperature - the ready-light will
switch off.
• Open the appliance, put the sandwich, meat or other foods on the bottom of the cooking
plate.
• Close the appliance. The ready-light will switch on again.
• Cook for about 3 to 6 minutes, the ready-light switches off again, or until golden brown,
adjusting the time to suit your own individual taste.
• When the food is already cooked, use the handle to open the appliance. Remove the
food with the help of a soft spatula. Never use metal tongs or a knife, as these can cause
damage to the non-stick coating of the cooking plates.
• Once you've finished cooking, disconnect the plug from the wall outlet and leave the
appliance open, to cool.
To remove the plates:
• Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before removing the plates.
• Open the appliance, press the plate release button (at the front of the device). Press
firmly and the plate will pop up slightly from the base. Grasp the plate with both hands,
slide it out from under the metal brackets, and lift it out of the base. Press the other plate
release button to remove the other cooking plate in the same way.
