There are no user-replaceable parts and no maintenance is required during the service
life of the system.
2.8 MEDICAL NOTES
In case of a typical reactions to the treatment, a doctor should be consulted.
For conditions requiring immunosuppression that are not related to transplantation, e.g., auto-
immune diseases or dermatological diseases, there are no contraindications for use of the BEMER
therapy.
At the end of the first cycle, new users who regularly take blood thinning/anticoagulant agents or anti-
hypertensive medications are advised to consult their attending physician to check for any change in
their effectiveness.
If the following circumstances or complaints exist, the prior approval of the attending physician/
specialist must be obtained before treatment begins:
Unexplained fever

Infectious diseases

Severe cardiac rhythm disorder (arrythmias)

Severe psychosis

Uncontrolled seizure disorders (e.g., epilepsy)

Long-term use of β-recepter antagonists

Use of high-dose corticoid steroids

Long-term use of anticoagulants (coumarin derivatives)

Ongoing use of prescription medications

Tumor diseases
