Max operating speed of insert tool must be higher
or equal than rated spindle speed.
Observe that increased overhang of shank reduces
permissible speed.
Check that wheel shank will fit to spindle collet.
Do not mix mm shanks with inch collets and vice
verse.
Observe a min of 10 mm axial grip of the shank.
Test run every new mounted wheel in a safe po-
sition for 30 seconds.
Correct function of grinder
Check spindle speed regularly.
Use a pressure regulator to avoid excessive air
pressure which may cause overspeed.
Free speed shall never exceed the rated marking
speed on the tool.

Connections and air hose shall be in good condi-
tion.
Correct working with the die grinder
Work piece shall be properly supported or fixed.
Ensure that sparks from the process do not create a
hazard to eyes or will ignite the environment.
The operator must check that no bystanders are in
the vicinity.
Personal protective equipment shall be used: Al-
ways wear approved eye and hearing protection.
Respond to excessive vibration due to damaged, or
improperly mounted insert tool.
Remember that there is a running on after the
throttle has been released.
Observe that stored compressed air in the hose
may cause an accidental start.
Disconnect from power supply before changing
mounted wheel or servicing.
Release control device in case of interruption of
energy supply.
Avoid long term harmful effects when
using the machine
Prevent gradual loss of hearing due to exposure to
high noise levels.
Wear ear protection.
