BEFORE FIRST USE
Clean all the parts and accessories in contact with food before using the appliance for
the first time (see paragraph "Cleaning").
USE
Use your blender jug to prepare blended and cream soups, stewed fruits, light batters
(pancakes,
doughnuts...), milkshakes, smoothies, cocktails...
1. Attach the blender blade unit to the blender beaker. Make sure the rubber ring has
been placed properly on the blender blade unit.
2. Put the ingredients in the beaker.
Do not fill the beaker beyond the MAX indication.
Never fill the beaker with ingredients that are hotter than 80°C.
3. Place the bender beaker on the motor unit. Fix the beaker by turning it in the direc-
tion of the arrow ('click').
Be careful not to exert too much pressure on the beaker.
4. Put the lid on the beaker.
5. Put the plug in the wall socket and switch on the appliance by pressing the speed
button. The unit stops working when you release the button.
6. Hold the motor unit firmly with both hands when operating the appliance. Do not op-
erate the appliance longer than one minute at a time. If you have not finished blending
after one minute, switch the appliance off and wait one minute before you continue
using it.
WARNING
1. Always handle the blade/knife carefully as it is very sharp.
2. Never put your fingers or other objects in the feed tube
3. Never touch the moving parts
4. Never overfill the jug or bowl to avoid any spillage
5. Do not remove the lid and never replace accessories without switching off the appli-
ance and if the accessory being used has not stopped working.
6. Avoid touching the sharp blades. If the blades get stuck, unplug the appliance and
remove the ingredients that are blocking the blades with spatula.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Unplug the appliance and wait for it completely cool down before cleaning
2. Do not use brush or other abrasive tools to clean the appliance
Caution: the main unit cannot be immersed in water or other liquid.
3. Wipe over the outside surface of the head and base with a damp cloth and dry them
with a soft dry cloth.
4. You can wash the bottle and lid in warm soapy water for cleaning. Then rinse under
running water and wipe dry.
