2) Pour water through the filler screw until the pump casing is full.
3) Screw in the filler screw.

6. OPERATION

6.1 SWITCHING ON THE PUMP

IMPORTANT! Danger of damage to the pump. A closed pressure line can damage
the pump.
•
Do not allow the pump to run against a closed pressure line.
1) Open all shut-off devices (valve, spray nozzle, shut-off valve) in the pressure line.
2) Insert the power cord plug into the power socket.
3) Switch the pump on with the on/off switch.

6.2 SWITCHING OFF THE PUMP

1) Switch off the pump. Turn off the on/off switch.
2) Close all pressure line shut-off devices.
IMPORTANT! Danger of injury from hot water. After extended use against the closed
pressure side (> 10 min.), or due to incorrect installation or lack of water in the suction
line, the water in the pump can become very hot and flow out uncontrollably.
•
Disconnect the pump from the mains and allow the pump and water to cool down.
•
Check the water level on the suction side.
•
Check the tightness of the ducts.
•
Check the installation of the suction and pressure lines.
Do not use the pump again until all possible flaws or errors have been resolved.
7. MAINTENANCE

7.1 FLUSHING THE PUMP

After transferring pool water containing chlorine or liquids that leave residues, the pump
must be flushed with clean water.
3) Disconnect the pump from the mains and secure it in place to ensure that it doesn't start
running again. The pump stops automatically.
4) Flush the pump with clean water.
The pump can be run again.
7.2 FILTER CLEANING
1) Unscrew the drain plug from the pump, empty the filter chamber, and screw the drain
plug back on.
2) Unscrew the lid. If necessary, insert a suitable tool into the recesses in the filter bowl
provided.
3) Remove the filter from the pump casing and clean it under running water.
4) Clean the filter housing and cover.
5) Before installing the filter, check the gasket for damage and replace it if necessary.
6) Install the filter, screw on the transparent filter cap, and tighten it with your fingers.

7.3 CLEANING THE CHECK VALVE

1) Remove the filter (see section "Cleaning the filter").
2) Unscrew the check valve and clean it under running water.
3) Replace the gasket if necessary.
4) Mount the check valve.
5) Install the filter.

7.4 REMOVING OBSTRUCTIONS

1) Disconnect the pump from the mains and secure it in place to ensure that it doesn't start
running again.
2) Disconnect the suction pipe from the pump inlet.
