3 Operation and Handling
This chapter provides you with important information and notes on the operation and
basic settings of the appliance.
3.1 Inserting the batteries
Open the battery cover on the bottom of the device and insert 3 new batteries (1.5V/ AAA –
not included in the scope of delivery). Following this, close the battery cover.
PLEASE NOTE

Remove the batteries if you are not planning to use the scales for a longer period of
time.
