1.
Wash the kettle and lid using warm soapy water. Concealed heating element makes it
easy for you to rinse and wash. Take care not to wet the power plug end. Check plug
end and wipe with dry paper towel if wet.
2.
Pull Foldable Handle OUT during the entire operation. You will need to have your
Foldable Handle in the OUT position to pour your hot water from the Kettle.
WARNING: DO NOT TOUCH ANY PART OTHER THAN THE PULLED-OUT HANDLE
DURING OPERATION AND IMMEDIATELY AFTER. THE STAINLESS-STEEL KETTLE WILL BE
VERY HOT AND CAN SCALD.
IF YOU DO NOT PULL THE FOLDABLE HANDLE OUT BEFORE POWERING UP THE KETTLE,
YOU CAN STEADILY HOLD THE KETTLE IN PLACE BY HOLDING THE KETTLE DOWN BY
THE KNOB ON THE LID. GENTLY AND SLOWLY PULL THE FOLDABLE HANDLE OUT. TAKE
CARE NOT TO PULL ON THE HANDLE ROUGHTLY.
3.
Choose Voltage: 120v is the standard volts used in the United States. To select the
correct voltage, you may need a small paper clip or small tweezers to change the voltage
setting.
4.
Retractable Power Cord: Hold the Kettle by the Foldable Handle and pull out the Power
Cord by the end. The first time might be difficult. You may need to pull out the Power
Cord and twist it back into the Storage Base a few times for the cord to unstick itself and
realign in the Base. Take care not to over pull. Gently pull out the Power Cable as far as
you can, then use the Retractable Dial found under the Base to wind it back in. These
steps will loosen up the Power Cord. This will become easier after the first or second
use.
5.
Once the Power Cord is fully out of the Storage Base place the Stainless-Steel Kettle on a
clean and level counter near an outlet.
NOTE: The Kettle is specifically designed with a short Power Cord for safety reasons.
6.
Plug in your Kettle to the nearest electrical outlet.
REMINDER: Pull the Foldable Handle out before starting the power.
7.
Grab the Foldable Handle with one hand and pull the Lid off the Kettle with the other.
8.
Place Lid on a clean paper towel.
9.
Fill the Kettle to the MAX level guideline with cool drinking bottled water, and place Lid
back on the Kettle. NOTE: Do not over fill. Water should NOT exceed the MAX
guideline found in the interior of the Kettle.
NOTE: Never operate the Kettle without the Lid.
10. Plug in your Kettle and press the Power switch to (I) for On.
11. Power indicator Light will illuminate, letting you know the appliance is on.
12. Once the water comes to a boil, the appliance will automatically shut off and the
indicator light will go out.
