Always observe the following safety precautions in addition to the safety in-
structions on pages 2. Failure to do so may result in equipment damage, prop-
erty damage, or personal injury.
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective
equipment such as a dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing pro-
tection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
Adjusting the Height/Angle
(Fig. 10)
The height and angle of the floor removal cart
can be adjusted to five different settings. To ad-
just the height/angle of the floor removal cart:
1. Squeeze the Height Adjustment Lever 6 and
push down or pull up until the floor removal
cart reaches the desired height/angle.
2. Release the Height Adjustment Lever 6 to re-
engage the locking mechanism.
Using the Floor Removal Cart
(Fig. 1,10)
Breaker Hammer must be
switched off and unplugged
before assembly, adjustments, troubleshoot-
ing, or changing of accessories. Such preventa-
tive safety measures reduce the risk of starting
the tool accidentally, which may result in per-
sonal injury.
Refer to the Breaker Ham-
mer Instruction Manual for
details on operation. Understanding how to op-
erate the breaker hammer safely will help pre-
vent injuries.
1. Ensure breaker hammer is switched off, un-
plugged, and secured in clamping blocks.
2. Firmly grip floor removal cart Handles 1 and
adjust to desired height/angle.
3. Once floor removal cart is locked into de-
sired height/angle, plug in breaker hammer.
4. Route breaker hammer power cord through
Power Cord Holder 4 to avoid damage to
power cord.
5. Hold floor removal cart by Handles 1, then
turn on breaker hammer.
Note: the height/angle of the floor removal cart
and the type of accessory used may vary based
on the type of floor being removed and how it
has been adhered to the sub floor.
