PRODUCT'S PRESENTATION
This tool is designed to carry out drilling tasks in wood
and metal, drilling impact tasks, more common in ma-
sonry, in concrete, stone and red brick, as well as to
tighten and loosen and remove screws and nuts,
It features a functional conversion ring which allows
to set the tool to the drill mode, impact drill mode and
screw mode, an adjustment ring that allows to choose
among 23 different torque settings, a speed selector,
and a ½" keyless chuck for a fast and convenient bit's
insertion and removal.
Besides, it is equipped with a belt hook, a built-in LED
working light, an auxiliary handle for an improved grip,
and a forward/reverse selector to set the rotation direc-
tion to left or right, which, if placed on its centered posi-
tions, blocks the trigger switch to prevent an accidental
starting of the tool.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! Read all safety warnings and all ins-
tructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instruc-
tions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/
or serious injury.
• Check for breakage of parts, damage to switches
and any other conditions that may affect its ope-
ration.
• Before connecting accessories to the tool, discon-
nect battery pack or place the switch in the locked
position.
• Keep the tool and its handle dry, clean and free
from oil and grease.
• Always wear eye and respiratory protection.
• Hold the tool by the insulated grip surface when
performing an operation where the tool may come
in contact with the hidden wiring. Contact with a
"live" wire will make exposed metal parts of the
tool "live" and shock the operator.
• When installing a drill bit, make sure the bit is in-
serted deep enough within the chuck.
• When removing the drill bit from the tool, avoid
contacting with the skin and use proper protective
gloves.
• Make sure all keys and adjusting wrenches are re-
moved from the drill before switching it on to avoid
them to fly away at high velocity.
• Use just enough pressure to keep the bit biting but
do not push too hard to avoid stalling the motor or
damaging the bit while drilling.
• Use the auxiliary handle where possible to gain
extra control and to prevent fatigue.
ASSEMBLY
Inserting the bits
1. Rotate the front ring of the chuck anticlockwise to
open the chuck jaws.
2. Fit the desired bit onto the chuck once the jaws are
sufficiently opened.
3. Rotate the front ring of the chuck clockwise until
being sufficiently tightened.
Mounting the auxiliary handle
1. Fit the two clamping blocks at the front part of the
auxiliary handle onto the two side holes located at
the left and right side of the gear housing.
2. Turn the auxiliary handle clockwise to tighten the
two clamping blocks and secure it in place.
NOTE! The auxiliary handle can be placed towards
both sides of the tool so that you can use it with your
right or left hand as appropriate.
Forward/Reverse Selector
Depress the forward/reverse selector to the right to set
the rotation direction to the right.
Depress the forward/reverse selector to the left to set
the rotation direction to the left.
NOTE! The selector at the center position locks the tri-
gger and prevents an accidental starting.
Drilling/Impact Drilling Mode Selection
This drill has 3 different selection modes, controlled
with the functional conversion ring:
Drill mode
Screw mode
Impact drill
mode
NOTE! You must rotate the functional conversion ring
so that desired selection mode is right on top in line
with the arrow on the gear case.
CAUTION! Only change the mode with the drill com-
pletely stopped.
