Switching on the device
Press and hold the POWER button for 2 seconds. When switched
on for the first time, DAB mode is activated and an automatic
station scan is performed (fig. 1).
While the battery is recharging, press the POWER button to turn
on the product (fig. 2).
Product discontinuation
Press the POWER button to turn off the product. While charging,
the product remains on standby and displays the time and battery
charge.
ADJUSTING THE VOLUME
Turn the VOLUME knob to adjust the volume level.
NAVIGATION IN THE MENUS
Use the FORWARD and REVERSE keys to navigate through menu options. Press the
SELECT / SCAN button to confirm or the MENU / INFO button to return to the previous
menu.
DAB / FM MODE
Use the DAB / FM button to switch from DAB to FM and vice
versa.
Preselections
Up to 20 DAB stations and 20 FM stations can be saved using the
Presets function.
To save the current station, press and hold the PRESET button,
choose the desired number using the REAR or FORWARD button
(fig. 17) and press the SELECT / SCAN button to save (fig. 19).
Press the PRESET button to display the saved presets (fig. 18). Use the REAR or
FORWARD keys to move through the different presets and press the SELECT / SCAN
key to listen to the desired preset.
Press the PRESET button again to exit the menu or cancel saving a preset.
DAB MODE
When DAB mode is switched on for the first time, the station search is performed
automatically. To perform a new scan, press and hold the SELECT / SCAN key. When
starting a new scan, all previously found stations are deleted.
It is possible to display the list of saved stations by pressing the REAR or FORWARD
button. Always use the REAR or FORWARD buttons to move through the stations and
press the SELECT / SCAN button to listen to the desired station.
Display of DAB information
In DAB mode, press the MENU / INFO button to display information about the selected
station and the product such as signal strength (DLS), program type (PTY - music genre
and / or program name) , signal quality and errors, signal bit rate and codec, battery
charge, time and date.
