Electrical Connection
SPA 1700 D (with 400 V 3-phase motor)
The motor voltage is 400 V at 50 Hz system frequency. Use a 5-pin industrial applianceconnector (according to DIN/
VDE 0100/BS 4343/IEC 309 or equivalent) to connect the SPA 1700 D to the power supply. The minimum required
conductor cross-section is 4 x 1.5 mm
breaker. Check the motor's direction of rotation every time the SPA 1700 D is relocated and connected to a different
outlet. The correct direction of rotation is indicated by an arrow on the motor fan cover. If required, change the
direction of rotation by means of the phase inverter, built into the CEE-plug that comes as standard delivery with
the SPA 1700 D.
SPA 1700 W (with 1-phase motor)
The motor voltage is 230 V at 50 Hz system frequency. The minimum required conductor cross-section is 3 x 1.5
mm

. Mains fuse: 10 A time-lag.
In case of a disturbance, disconnect from power immediately by pulling the plug from the outlet. Check and/or
service machine only after it is disconnected from power.

General
- Metal parts, solid wooden blocks or sticks should not be collected.
- This dust collector can be directly connected to the following Elektra Beckum machines: band saws, spindle
moulders, planer/thicknessers, circular saws PK, UK, KGT and TK series.
For connection to BKH/BKS site saws an optional suction connector, stock-no. 1381053489, is required.
For the crosscut & mitre saw KGS 300 the dust extraction kit stock-no. 0910003496 is required for connecting
a dust collector.
The optional available fine filter cartridge, stock-no. 092 001 6529, increases the filtration efficiency substancially.
Its use is strongly recommended.

Cleaning
It is recommended to clean the filter bag with every change of the chip collection bag. Damaged filter and chip
collection bags should be replaced at once to minimize workplace dust emission.
