9 MAINTENANCE
Carry out regular visual checks. Check the machine for damage before each use.

9.1 SHARPENING BLADES
CAU TION
The sharpening of the blades may only be carried out by specialist dealers using
specialist equipment. Do not sharpen the blades yourself.

Never open the housing. Contact the service department for repairs.
If the device malfunctions or is found to be otherwise defective, even after following the suggested
solutions below, contact the service department. The contact details can be found in chapter 14.

1. Check the socket and fuse used and
have them checked/replaced by
qualified personnel if necessary.
2. Contact the service department.
1. Clean or replace the air filter.
2. Reduce the tension of the blades with
the tensioning nut. If this solves the
problem and the machine stops cutting,
the blades must be sharpened.
3. Lubricate the blades/ clipper head.
