5. After filling, reseal the rubber cap on the bottom of
the tank and reinsert the tank into the iron (the end
closest to plates first).
Note: Make sure that the tank is completely dry
before putting in place.
6. To regulate the amount of steam, use the 3-position
steam control switch which is found on the back of
the appliance, (NO/ MED/HIGH).
NOTE:
•
To make the first flow of steam come out,
power on the appliance and wait until the temperature
indicator LED stops flashing, then, hold the appliance
horizontally and clamp & release heating plates
continuously about 3 to 5 times, steam will come out.
Thereafter, steam will come out every time the plates
are pressed.
•
DO NOT press the heating plates more than 5 times
without straightening your hair to prevent drops of
boiling water from coming out.
•
DO NOT press the heating plates multiple times with
the appliance switched off or in stand-by to prevent
water from coming out.
•
When the plates do not reach the desired temperature,
the water takes time to evaporate, resulting in water
leakage.
•
According to the principle of the hot steam, if plates
appear a few small waterdrops during using is normal
phenomenon.

Switching on and warming up
NOTE: Always keep the heating plates clean to ensure
that the straightener offers the best performance.
1. The hair straightener is equipped with a plate closing
lock. To deactivate the plate closing lock, press the
plates together and slide the locking button towards
front. The hair straightener opens and is ready for
operation.
2. Place the appliance on a heat-resistant surface.
3. Connect the mains plug to an easily accessible socket.
4. Use the on/off button to switch the appliance on.
NOTE: When switching ON, the LED flashes from LOW to
HIGH level and stops flashing when the product reaches
the heating intensity chosen.
